Share The Dream Trail

ROC is working with the Lassen National Forest to designate a motorized mixed use trail that circles Lassen Volcanic National Park, called the Share the Dream Trail.  The proposed 109 mile trail will be an addition to the Lassen Backcountry Byway, which was designated in 2000.  The proposed trail is on existing Forest Service and County roads and State highways.  ROC has also field checked the location of proposed bypasses of the Forest Service, County and State highway segments to keep vehicles off paved roads.  ROC requested the proposed trail be analyzed during the Lassen’s route designation process.
